New Commission – Missa Kreyol/Messe créole

The Missa Kreyol/Messe créole is a new concert mass that celebrates Haitian culture in a multi-ethnic world. Glenn McClure is working with members of the artistic community in Montreal, Ottawa, and Haiti to create a work in Latin, French and Haitian Kreyol that explores the unique spirituality of Haiti. This new work will premier in December 2014.

The New York-Quebec Cultural Exchange funded is through the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
