Digital Recordings and Digital Sheet Music Sales

1. General

By purchasing and downloading digital products from this site — including music recordings and digital sheet music (PDF scores) — you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not complete the purchase.

All recordings and sheet music offered for sale are owned by the seller or licensed for sale by the seller.

2. License Grant (What You’re Buying)

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license for the specific product purchased.

For Music Recordings:

You are granted a personal-use license to download and listen to the recordings.

For Digital Sheet Music (PDF Scores):

You are granted a license to print and use the number of copies specified in your order and invoice.

Downloading the PDF source score(s) constitutes your agreement to these terms.

This purchase does not transfer ownership of the recordings, compositions, scores, or any underlying copyrights.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Permitted Uses

Music Recordings – You May:

  • Download the files for personal use
  • Listen on personal devices
  • Store backup copies for personal use

Digital Sheet Music – You May:

  • Print the number of copies licensed in your order
  • Use the printed copies for rehearsal and performance consistent with the license purchased
  • Store the original downloaded PDF for archival purposes

4. Licensed Copy Requirements for Sheet Music

You are authorized to print only the number of licensed copies specified in your order and invoice.

Further copying, distributing, emailing, posting, uploading, or sharing of the source PDF(s) with any third parties constitutes a violation of this agreement, unless those third parties are included by name in the original ordering, invoicing, and licensing process.

Each singer, instrumentalist, conductor, or participant using a printed score must be covered by a licensed copy unless otherwise explicitly stated.

If additional licensed copies are required by you, another person, ensemble, organization, or entity interested in this music, additional licenses must be purchased through:

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share digital recordings or sheet music files
  • Upload recordings or PDFs to file-sharing sites, cloud drives for public access, or streaming platforms
  • Share sheet music PDFs with performers not covered by the license
  • Use recordings in films, videos, podcasts, games, advertisements, or other media without written permission
  • Publicly perform recordings for commercial purposes without appropriate licensing
  • Alter, remix, arrange, transpose for resale, or sample recordings or sheet music for commercial use without written permission
  • Remove copyright notices from any materials

Any commercial, synchronization, arrangement, reprint, or derivative use requires separate written permission.

6. Copyright

All recordings, compositions, sheet music, PDFs, artwork, and associated materials are protected by United States and international copyright law.

All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by the copyright holder.

7. No Refunds on Digital Products

All sales are final.

Due to the nature of digital downloads, no refunds or exchanges are provided once files have been delivered or accessed, except where required by law.

8. Delivery

Digital files will be made available via download after payment is successfully completed.

The seller is not responsible for issues caused by:

  • Incorrect email addresses
  • Incompatible devices or software
  • Printer malfunction or user printing errors
  • Internet connectivity problems

9. Technical Responsibility

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Their device can open standard PDF formats (for sheet music)
  • Their printer can properly print the purchased materials
  • Their device can open standard audio file formats (e.g., MP3, WAV, FLAC)

10. Limitation of Liability

The seller is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the recordings or sheet music.

All materials are provided “as is.”

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the seller’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

The seller reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes apply to future purchases only.

13. Licensing Ethos
