I am very grateful for the creative time of this residency. While I usually compose music in the narrow windows of time between teaching, grant writing, and other duties, this has been a welcome month of greater focus on the creative process

Quiet Zone and the Government Shutdown

Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park and The National Parks Arts Foundation (NPAF) are proud to announce that Glenn McClure, composer, educator, and scholar, will be the Winter-Spring Artist in Residence near the Park which has recently reopened after the recent and spectacular lava flows across a third of the largest island in the state of Hawai’i.
